I took a look at your home page. I have to say I think your sign-up form looks much better than mine. I don’t have the ability to make lots of changes to coding now because of my hosting situation. But when I change my hosting (hopefully next month) I’ll have more control. Hopefully I can try e-mailing the page creator at that time. Thanks for the info.

I noted your entry on wordpress forum concerning the mailchimp plugin. I had the same situation as you… I am new to wordpress and php. Since I use a commercial theme, its styling was messing up the plugin. I was advised to use a different plugin mailchimp-widget by james laferty. James and I have done email and he is willing to talk to my theme creator to see if they can work it out. For now my first & last name and email fields size properly (that’s an improvement) but the submit button on mine looks goofy. Exact opposite of your situation. You may want to give it a try. The plugin has NO settings, just asks for your mailchimp api. I’ve done 3 or 4 emails with the creator directly and that’s a good sign. Hello Audrey, My friend, Melissa Sweinhagen met you at a party (fund raiser) a few weeks back and the topic of writing came up. Melissa and I started the Promise of the Pen writer’s club about 4 months ago and meet monthly. We have 7 members.

I am exploring the bloggingsphere.. I am not a social media type and only dive into She Writes (I do have a page there) and Linkedin for work (police dept… I have plenty of material for writing, believe me). I have a non-fiction essay I submitted to Glamour last year and wont hear anything back for another month. I am not expecting too much of anything from that yet the process of writing, revising then submitting was liberating!! I also have a short story fiction piece I am working on.

Melissa mentioned your work and I love this site. Very inviting and I like the layout. Any words of wisdom on blogging or lessons learned on writing you can give- I am all ears.

You can get to my blog posts on the home page of my website by two methods. First, there’s a list of Recent Posts on the right side of the page. Also, scrolling down, there’s a category list. Either way leads you to my various posts. Hope that helps.
